Background

from Alan Wenker, pack connoisseur: Hine Snowbridge was pack maker out of Colorado, perhaps similar to Lowe Alpine back in the day.  They made very high quality internal frame packs where the internal stays formed an X versus the stays being parallel.  Several firms used this style suspension in the 1970's, perhaps Synergy Works being the most famous.  The packs were well made, well designed, with minimal frills and carry quite well.  Hine Snowbridge, also , made bike bags under the Kirtland label and camera bags under the Altan label.
