Historic Sierra Designs Catalog - 1972
This was the last of the documentary catalogs, trips to the great outdoor where our equipment could be showcased in actual surroundings. The participants were Bob Swanson, Jean Nagy, Gary Hancock, Nick Lawrence (photographer) and Shiela Fostiak. This catalog had a combination of line drawings and photos. I do not recall much of the reaction to this one, but it does not make me think it was any thing more or less special, certainly not controversial.
As you can see we had not changed our ways too much and were still very casual in our dress and manners. This is one of the few times Bob had a mustache. He shaved it off shortly after this trip.
